Laker Classic in the books with win over Milikin

The second annual Laker Classic wrapped up at the Field House at Lake Land College Saturday night.

The final game found the LLC Lakers victorious, 84-55, over Big Blue of Milikin University (JV). This marks the third time the Lakers have beaten Milikin this season.


The Laker Classic also brings to a close the non-conference games for the men's squad. The Lady Lakers have one year-end tournament to complete.

Great Rivers Athletic Conference begins for both Lakers' squads on January 6 of the new year versus the Volunteers of John A Logan College. Those match-ups take place in the Field House. Ladies first, starting at 5:30 p.m.CT, with the men's team to follow, slated for 7:30 p.m. CT.

Both games will be broadcast on WLKL, 89.9 FM as well streamed live (video/audio) on LLC-RTV.
